“I want it all” used on ABC “Revenge”

The sassy big band number “I want it all” was used for the ABC show “Revenge” – Episode 2 “trust” last night.
An adaptation of The Alexander Dumas novel “The Count of Monte Cristo”, this TV drama stars Madeleine Stowe and Emily VanCamp. For details of the show, please see the ABC site.

David’s songs chosen for new movie “The Broken Tower”

Breaking news: The new movie “The Broken Tower”  - starring and directed by Golden Globe nominee James Franco. Previously known for his breakthrough starring role on “Freaks and Geeks”, Franco this year is set to see his profile further enhanced by the release of “The Rise of the Planet of The Apes” in which he plays “Will Rodman”.

Set in 1932, The Broken Tower is a biopic of poet and visionary Hart Crane. See below to find out more about Franco’s latest offering as both an actor and a director. The movie (recently premiered at the L.A Film Festival) has been picked up by “Focus Features” and is set for an upcoming full scale commercial release.

David signs for Audio Netowork

It’s been a busy couple of months here.

Having recently signed to write for film/TV and Media Publishers Audio Network , I’m busy working alongside my U.S collaborator Jeff Meegan to contribute 8 tracks to two albums – News Themes and Marching Band Music. Most of the album is being recorded at Phoenix Studios, London, with players from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. I’ll be conducting these sessions and then the mixing will take place in the prestigious Avatar Studios New York , close to Audio Network’s U.S base. These albums are being co-written by Tim Garland, the jazz saxophonist and composer of great repute. More info to follow… stay tuned! 3.6.11
